Further developing the collection, we continue with a focus on reinterpreting cultural references through the use of new materials. Here, again, cast foam is the key. We have created a piece which references familiar elements yet sets them outside familiar contexts. With the foam – atop which sits a glass mirror – we’ve further explored its use and played with colors, density, and porosity, once more creating an object eager to be touched.

Part of a continuing story, when set in its contemporary context, the Mirror subverts the past and almost unwittingly reveals itself as part of a new tradition.
